Individual Sessions

Meet with me individually via virtual 50-55 min sessions. Together we will get a better understanding of the challenges you’re experiencing, and form therapeutic goals. The over-all length of therapy will depend on each client’s specific challenges and goals. Some common reasons for seeking individual therapy are managing anxiety or depressed mood, navigating a life transition, improving relationships, healing from past experiences, and exploring identity.

Couples Therapy

Sometimes meeting with a third party can help partners see their challenges in a new, more objective light. Common reasons for seeking couples therapy are communication breakdowns, adjusting to life transitions as a couple, rebuilding trust, and rekindling closeness and intimacy.

Family Consultation

When we have a family member dealing with a severe mental health disorder such as psychosis, we can be left feeling overwhelmed, in the dark, and helpless. I believe that family can be an individual’s biggest support, though they often have the least resources available. I am here to help provide you with information, understanding, and strategies to empower you in caring for and supporting your loved one.

I’ve had the privilege of training and mentorship from Dr. Aaron Beck, the father of CBT and Recovery Oriented Cognitive Therapy for serious mental health conditions. His approach emphasized connecting an individual with their aspirations and the things that help them be the most energized/empowered version of themselves. This model represents a marked shift from the established medical model of focusing solely on reducing symptoms. I have experience training health care professionals from all around the Philadelphia area in this approach, and now I want to share these strategies with you and your family to help you feel more equipped in supporting your loved one.
